Bird Kingdom
Where feathers catch the light, and every spin feels like flight.
This game is intended for adult entertainment only. It does NOT offer real-money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or prizes. Virtual currency has no monetary value.
The Canopy

High above the forest floor, where mist curls through ironwood branches and sunlight filters in ribbons of amber, lies the Bird Kingdom — a sprawling avian city built on mossy boughs and vine-strung bridges. Every species has a quarter here: the parrots keep the market square bright, the tūī hum their evening songs from the bell-tower, and the kea run the games.
Coins in this realm are carved from fallen seedpods, polished until they gleam like copper, and passed from wing to wing as tokens of good fortune. No bird hoards them for long; the joy is always in the giving, never the keeping.
Meet Tiko

Kea Explorer-Inventor
Tiko hatched in the highest nest of the Kingdom's Great Rātā tree and immediately tried to disassemble it. Growing up among tinkerers and map-drawers, they became the youngest bird ever to chart a new flight path through the Mist Ravine.
These days Tiko runs the Kingdom's game quarter, inventing new ways for visitors to spin, scratch, and discover — always insisting that the real treasure is the surprised look on a player's face when the reels line up.
Tiko is endlessly curious, gently mischievous, and convinced that every new game is a puzzle waiting to be cracked — your wing-borne guide through the canopy.
The Games
Canopy Reels
Three moss-wrapped reels spin among the branches — line up the plumage and the seedpods tumble down.
Rules
- Match three identical bird symbols across a horizontal row to win.
- The Tiko Wild symbol substitutes for any other symbol on the reels.
- Higher-value birds — the Kea and the Tūī — pay the largest rewards.
- All wins are paid in virtual Seedpod Coins only. They hold no real-money value and cannot be exchanged or cashed out.
Nectar Wheel
A great flower-shaped wheel turns slowly in the heart of the market — give it a nudge and see where the petal lands.
Rules
- Spend 15 Seedpod Coins to spin the Nectar Wheel once.
- The wheel settles on one of eight petal segments, each carrying a different multiplier.
- Landing on the golden Tiko petal awards the highest prize.
- All prizes are virtual Seedpod Coins only — they have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out.
Egg Scratch
Nine speckled eggs sit in a nest of fern — scratch their shells gently and see what's hiding inside.
Rules
- Scratch open the eggs to reveal the symbols hidden beneath.
- Find three matching Golden Feather symbols to win a Seedpod Coin reward.
- Each card costs 20 Seedpod Coins to play.
- Wins are virtual only — Seedpod Coins carry no real-money value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Our Story
Bird Kingdom Studios began in a sun-filled flat in Wellington in 2021, when three friends who loved both birds and board games asked a simple question: could a social casino feel as calm and colourful as a walk through native bush?
We spent two years prototyping in browsers, painting feather textures, and testing with friends who had never touched a slot machine. The result was Bird Kingdom — a place built entirely around free play, where every coin is virtual and every session is meant to feel like a short, bright visit rather than a long obligation.
We have never sold currency, never offered real-money prizes, and never asked a player for payment details. That commitment is woven into every line of code we write, and it is the one rule the flock will never bend.
The Flock
Aroha Mitchell
Studio Director
Aroha grew up sketching birds in exercise books in Dunedin and never quite stopped. She founded Bird Kingdom Studios in 2021, determined to build games that felt like stepping into a watercolour — unhurried, warm, and entirely free to wander through.
Liam Chen
Lead Engineer
Liam writes the code that makes reels spin and wheels turn in the browser. Before joining the studio he spent six years building indie puzzle games, and he still insists that the smoothest animation is the one nobody notices.
Ines Ferreira
Art Director
Ines paints every feather, every leaf, every mossy branch you see across the Kingdom. She trained as a botanical illustrator in Lisbon and brings the same quiet precision to pixel art and interface design.
Nikau Parata
Community & Responsible Play Lead
Nikau believes games should be a place of ease, not anxiety. He manages our community channels, writes our responsible-play resources, and makes sure every corner of the site keeps its promise: free, fun, and gentle.
Saga Lindqvist
Game Designer
Saga designs the rules and rhythms of each mini-game, balancing surprise with fairness. She arrives at the studio each morning with a thermos of coffee and a notebook full of probability sketches — most of which, she admits, end up as doodles of birds.
Safe Play
At Bird Kingdom, we build our games with the hope that every visit feels like a moment of colour and calm — a short flight through the canopy, enjoyed at your own pace. Our site is designed for adults aged 18 and over in New Zealand, and every experience here, from Canopy Reels to Egg Scratch, is entirely free. There is no financial risk, no purchase required, and no real-money outcome. The seedpods are made of light and good intentions, nothing more.
Because Seedpod Coins are virtual and can never be exchanged for real money or tangible prizes, the stakes at Bird Kingdom are always imaginary. Even so, we believe responsible play habits matter wherever games are involved. We encourage you to set a comfortable session length before you start, take breaks when the world outside calls, and remember that the Kingdom is patient — it will be here whenever you return.
If playing ever begins to feel like something other than entertainment, or if it starts to press against the edges of your day in ways that trouble you, please step away. Professional support services are available in New Zealand, and you will find direct links and helpline details on our Responsible Play page. There is nothing brave about pushing through discomfort — the bravest thing is knowing when to rest your wings.
